Training the next generation of clean energy technicians

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of training for the second cohort of 200 technicians across four districts in the Western Province: Nyamagabe, Nyamasheke, Nyabihu, and Ngororero. This significant achievement reflects our commitment to equipping participants with both soft skills and technical knowledge that are crucial for success in the clean energy sector.

This milestone has been made possible through the collaborative efforts of local authorities, representatives from the energy sector, trainers, and the technicians themselves.

At Klean NRG, we are excited to welcome these newly trained technicians into our community. We strongly believe in the transformative impact of our training programs, which not only cultivate a highly skilled workforce but also empower individuals to contribute significantly to our objective of deploying 13,000 solar-powered kits within the next six months.

We are presently waiting for the launch of the ASCENT project by BRD, which stands for the Advanced Solar and Clean Energy Technologies initiative.

This groundbreaking project will enable us to install up to 13,000 solar photovoltaic kits across the diverse landscapes of Rwanda's Southern and Western Provinces. The significance of this initiative cannot be overstated, as it aligns perfectly with Rwanda's commitment to expanding access to renewable energy and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The deployment of these solar kits is expected to provide clean, sustainable energy to numerous households and businesses, thereby enhancing the quality of life for many individuals in these regions. Furthermore, this project is anticipated to contribute to the local economy by creating job opportunities during both the installation phase and the ongoing maintenance of the solar systems.
